Search-optimised website design by Celsius Software

Website

A website that brings in work, not compliments

Handsome is easy. Being found, read and acted on is the hard part — and it is the only part that pays.

Most business websites are digital brochures nobody reads, built once and then left to rot while the phone stays quiet. We build the other kind: fast, properly structured, written in English, and aimed squarely at the searches your buyers actually type. Then we measure what happens and fix what does not work. It is not glamorous, but it is the difference between a website that costs money and one that makes it.

How we do it

Six steps to launch

  1. 01

    Discovery

What you sell, who buys it, and what your competitors rank for.

  2. 02

    Keyword plan

Real search demand mapped to pages, prioritised by winnability.

  3. 03

    Structure

A site map where every service and location has a page worth indexing.

  4. 04

    Design and build

Fast, accessible pages with your brand doing the talking.

  5. 05

    Content

Written for buyers first and search engines second — which, conveniently, is what search engines want.

  6. 06

    Measure and improve

Rankings, enquiries and page performance reviewed monthly, with changes made accordingly.

Questions

Frequently asked

How long does a website take?+

Most search-optimised websites go live in four to eight weeks. The build itself is rarely the bottleneck — approvals, photography and the content you promised to send over are. We start with a keyword plan and site structure, then design and build in parallel while copy is written and signed off. You get a launch date at the outset and we tell you immediately if anything slips, rather than three weeks later when you ask.

Will I be on page one?+

For sensible, winnable search terms — usually yes, given time. Local searches such as your service plus your town are realistic within months; national head terms with entrenched competitors take considerably longer and need ongoing content. We show you the keyword data before we build, so you know which terms are worth chasing and which are vanity. Anyone promising page one for a competitive national term next week is selling you something you should not buy.

Do you write the content?+

Yes. You supply the facts, prices, services and the awkward details only you know, and we turn them into plain-English pages written for buyers and structured for search engines. Every page gets a proper title, meta description, single H1 and headings that match what people actually type. Nothing goes live until you have read it and approved it, and if a sentence sounds like marketing filler, tell us and it goes.

Can I edit pages myself?+

Yes. We hand over a site you can update without ringing us first — text, images, prices, new service pages — plus training so it stays maintainable after we have gone. The layout is built so ordinary edits cannot break it. If you would rather we handled updates and ongoing SEO work, we can do that too, but it should be your choice rather than a lock-in dressed up as a support contract.

What does it cost?+

It depends on scope: a tight brochure site with a handful of service pages costs far less than a multi-location site with booking, integrations and a content programme behind it. We quote a fixed price after a free consultation, with the deliverables written down so nobody argues later about what was included. There are no padded day rates to make the number look impressive, and no surprise invoices for things you assumed were part of the job.

What is included in the SEO work?+

Keyword research, site architecture, on-page optimisation, technical SEO, structured data and local search setup. In practice that means fast-loading pages, clean markup, sensible internal links, unique titles and descriptions, image alt text, an XML sitemap, and consistent business details across your site and Google Business Profile. We also set up tracking so you can see which pages bring enquiries, because rankings without enquiries are just a nice-looking graph.

Do you work with businesses outside Oxfordshire?+

Yes. We are based in Bicester and know the Oxfordshire market well, which helps for local search around Bicester, Oxford, Banbury, Aylesbury and Milton Keynes. The work itself is delivered UK-wide and most of it happens over calls and shared documents. If you are targeting several towns, we build a page for each one with genuinely different content, rather than the same paragraph with the place name swapped out.
